'G-Force' topples 'Harry Potter' at box office! It is must be one of those great news for any non-Harry-Potter fan like myself. Then again, somehow I know that I'll watch this latest Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince eventually.
So what's this G-Force (2009) that is so appealing to the audience? Just a bunch of cute guinea pigs run around performing some mission impossible adventures. What about it's trailer? That's when I stumbled across another similar trailer which is dated back in 1986, known as G-Force: Guardians of Space. The following clip tells it all.

Alright, if this is not entertaining enough, try this. This 1986 G-Force was actually copied from a Japanese version of G-Force back in 1976! It is known as the Gatchaman. The following is its Intro and Outro.

It is just a classic! An epic! I love it! But don't get me wrong. I'm actually very impressed by the quality of these animations considering the not-so-high-tech instrumentation they had applied back in those days. I wonder...since they have movies for Transformer, X-men and so forth, will there be a G-Force movie based on this classical animation. That will be interesting to watch.
